Difficulty: Moderate.

Objective: Rout the enemy or capture the Lab.

Orange Star Suggested COs: Kanbei/Sonja.

Blue Moon Suggested COs: Grit/Max.

General Strategy

Take out the Computer’s eyes to force them to bump into your units. From the first day, you can destroy up to three Reconnaissance units and a Tank if you have Grit as Blue Moon. Then it’s about enduring the first Tag attack then hailing with indirects again.

Rushing the Lab could work for Orange Star if you cleverly lay your Md. Tank where it can only be attacked once. Lay a Tank behind it. Just Watch out! At the North of the map, there are two Battle Helicopters, an Infantry, an Artillery and a Tank. Hide Missiles in the Woods backed by an Anti-Aircraft, slowly take on the Tank with your own and reach in for the kill with your Armoured Personnel Carrier loaded with a Mechanised Infantry.

In-Depth Guide

Don’t listen to what Sasha says. Routing the enemy is actually quite easy. You can’t really use Sasha’s CO Power effectively and often enough to make much of a difference. Instead, use their numbers against themselves. There are only Four Reconnaissance units, a single Submarine, one Cruiser and three Tanks (Four including the one to the North of the map near the Laboratory.). All the other units have only one vision range. These units should be prioritised first forcing the computer to bump into your units.

However, you shouldn’t destroy them all on the first day even though it’s possible to almost do so. Rather, on the first day, you should take out the Northernmost Reconnaissance with Orange Star’s Rockets. You MUST be able to take this out in one shot. Move everything else to the West including the Easternmost Reconnaissance and Artillery. Hide your Missiles in the Woods to the North and keep tabs on the Black Boat hiding in the Reefs close to your Head Quarters by parking something next to it. Move your Md. Tank to the Southernmost allied city and ready all your Artillery behind it. You WILL be assaulted very soon.

Blue Moon should take out a Reconnaissance and if you’re Grit, the sole Rockets in the centre of the map. Otherwise, another Reconnaissance should do. Move your Rockets to the Woods to lay down covering fire and target the Biggest hitter when they get into range. This Rocket unit is the only unit you shouldn’t fire with on the first day. You have to be able to wound as many NeoTanks or Md. Tanks as possible so that Orange Star has a better chance to survive against the Tag attack.
