AWDS Hard Campaign Guide - Mission 14: Lash's Test

Difficulty: Easy.

Objective: Capture the Laboratory or rout the enemy with a much weaker army initially. Clever use of Black Bombs will see you through this mission.

Suggested Main COs: Grit, Kanbei, Grimm, Max.

Support COs: Max, Sonja, Sensei, Grit.

Suggested skills for Main CO: Tower Power, Pathfinder, Prairie Dog, Slam Shield.

Suggested skills for Support CO: All three tag bonuses, anything else.

General Strategy

Utilising your Black Bombs to take care of the larger and more powerful enemy force at hand. Forcing them into repairs and delaying their advance. Once you've got the majority of the enemy to 5HP or below, you can send in the cavalry to mop up the rest of the units.

Don't let Lash capture the only Airport on the map. Protect that at all costs. You have a very weak aerial counterattack and if the only one is removed or damaged, you will struggle with the rest of the map.

In-Depth Guide

The two Black Bombs to the West should be used to hit all the enemy units around the pipe reducing them all to 1HP. Move all your other units towards the centre of the map where you will wait for the right time to strike. Unless you're Grit, you'll have to spend at least three or four days attacking the pipe seam to get the Black Bombs out. Don't worry about the Cruiser, use two Black Bombs to get that down to 1HP and your Battle Helicopter can easily take care of it after letting the other two out.

Once you've got the majority of Lash's units under wraps, you can slowly push your way through all of her weakened units.
