AWDS Hard Campaign Guide - Mission 2: The New Black

Difficulty: Easy.

Objective: Rout the enemy while keeping the Infantry unit alive.

Suggested Main COs: Kanbei, Jess, Grit, Jake.

Support COs: Sonja, any.

Suggested skills for Main CO: Sharpshooter, Sniper, Bruiser, Brawler.

Suggested skills for Support CO: Teamwork, Synergy, Bodyguard, any.

General Strategy

Take out foot soldiers first. Then destroy the rest of the units from afar with Artillery in the north and destroy any other units with the Neotank in the south. Keep the tank on the city to safeguard the damaged infantry from attacks from the south.

In-Depth Guide

Use the Neotank to destroy the closest Infantry, move your Artillery units together into a line on the city and the woods and fire only with the Artillery unit on the city. This way, you can cover each Artillery unit with each other and no matter which way Jugger moves in the next turn, you’ll be able to fire off at least two Artillery units to shoot at his units.

Aim for Mechanised Infantry first as they are the only ones that can damage your Artillery units. Just keep adjusting your Artillery units until you can fire on the rest of the units or send in your tank to destroy the weakened units. You will destroy the foot soldiers in one hit (Kanbei 146/130 units OUCH!) and severely damage the tanks.

From here on, destroy the last Infantry unit to the south (which will most likely be heading to your HQ) then just blast the other units.
