AWDS Hard Campaign Guide - Mission 26: Surrounded!
Difficulty: Moderate.
Objective: Capture all four Communication Towers within twenty four days.
Suggested COs for Orange Star: Sasha/Colin.
Suggested COs for Blue Moon: Kanbei/Sonja.
Suggested skills for Main COs: Fire Sale, Gold Rush, Slam Guard, Slam Shield.
Suggested skills for Support CO: All three Tag bonuses, Slam Shield.
General Strategy
This mission is at its hardest at the beginning of the match. You simply must prioritise destroying all of the dangerous units. Just wounding them is not an option because Andy will make them bounce back from the near dead and you will suffer for it.
Of course, it's nice and easy to say all of this but your other big worry is that Black Hole start with four Communication Towers already under their command giving all their units 140/100 statistics. You really do have to use someone with lots of defence to help deter a lot of that power. Still, the units you should look out for are the Rockets to the South East, the two Md. Tanks to the North and the two Neotanks. One in the North West and the other to the South West of the map. The two Battle Helicopters that threaten Blue Moon are also a danger because you can't reach them on your first day. Instead, you must cover your units cleverly so to avoid as much damage as possible and use your Anti-Aircraft to completely eradicate one of the Battle Helicopters then gang up on the second one.
Once you have dealt with the bigger threats, you should turn your attention to keeping Candy/Kindle/Andy away from those Missile Silos and use them against themselves. For this, you're going to need to use indirect units very well. Letting Orange Star be Grit is a good choice due to the good choke point in the centre of the map.
In-Depth Guide
There are four Factories that the computer begins with. Shutting down their production as soon as possible is imperative but dealing with the pre-deployed units first is what you need to concentrate on. (Duh...) For this reason, I'd highly recommend you to choose COs with extra power to have better chances at destroying units in one hit. You really cannot afford Andy to hit you with Hyper Upgrade at all otherwise your technique score will suffer drastically. Not only that, Candy/Kindle will mop up anything else with her boosted power from her Super Power and the captured Communication Towers.
Despite what I have said earlier, if you are looking for an easier time, choose Sami and Eagle. With an increased capture rate and no reduction in indirects, Sami can easily build up a mass of foot soldiers and Artillery to destroy and decimate all. Once you get Victory March, it's a mad dash to the Communication towers.
Finally, the two Piperunners shouldn't pose too much of a threat thanks to your units all around. Orange Star can just shoot it with Rockets and finish it off with any other unit afterwards. Blue Moon however, has a little harder time. If you're Kanbei, you can attack it with your Battle Helicopter sacrificing it but that will give you more breathing room to destroy the Neotank.
