Hard Campaign Mission 3: Max Attacks!

Difficulty: Easy.

Objective: Rout the enemy or capture the enemy Headquarters.

Suggested Main COs: Kanbei, Sensei, Grimm, Max, Eagle.

Support COs: Sonja, any.

Suggested skills for Main CO: Bruiser, Brawler, Slam Guard, Slam Shield.

Suggested skills for Support CO: Teamwork, Synergy, Bodyguard, anything else.

General Strategy

The biggest worry you have here is that Black Bomb. You don’t have anything that can take it out and Lash will use it on day 2 guaranteed but it’s actually nothing to worry about at all if you have the right CO for the job. The trick is to tactically fool the computer to take on four of your Battle Copters with it and spread the other Helicopters out. It’s also highly recommended that all the minicannons save for the eastern one to be destroyed. After you’ve survived the explosion from the Black Bomb, you can just slowly rout Lash.

Destroy the minicannons. It takes three Battle Copters to destroy a single one (Unless you’re a fully powered up Sensei in which case it may take only two hits, ZOMG! 176/110 Battle Copter! OUCH!!!). Then it’s a simple matter of sending four Battle Copters to the south west to lure the Black Bomb into destroying itself and inflicting its pain upon your units. Even if all the helicopters are affected, you can still deal a lot of damage with these helicopters since a Neotank’s Machine guns aren’t able to damage a Battle Copter very well. Use your helicopters to block the tanks from reaching your indirects to the north, use another two to destroy the Tank sitting on the HQ. Send in a foot soldier on the Transport Helicopter and capture the HQ. Strangely enough, I actually could capture the HQ AND rout Lash in the same turn...
