Andy - Fixes Cars, also a CO

Andy

Andy is an all-round average CO with no strengths or weaknesses. All Andy's units are the most average they can be, and so everyone else's units are measured by Andy's. He also doesn't know what a continent is.

Day To Day Abilities

  • None

COP - Hyper Repair ***

  • 2hp free repairs on every unit
  • 110% attack/defence

Andy rushes round like crazy fixing his damaged units for 2HP each. However good he is, though, he can't fix them above 10HP. His units do recieve a day's worth of tuning up, however - 110% attack and defence as per usual.

SCOP - Hyper Upgrade ---***

  • 5hp free repairs on every unit
  • +1 movement point on every unit
  • 130% attack
  • 110% defence

Andy goes mental and repairs all his units for 5HP as fast as his little legs can carry him, tweaks up their movement by 1, their defence to 110% and their attack to 130%! Whoosh!

Andy + Eagle

Airlift
115% **

Andy makes a good tag partner to anyone, but with Eagle's air force Andy's movement helps a fair bit, and the extra 15% attack is nice.

Andy + Max

Power Wrench
110% *

A good tag with a (rather obvious) focus on direct attacks.

Andy + Hawke

Shaky Alliance
105% *

The ultimate in unit repairing tags, Hawke should do most of the day-to-day slogging with his superior firepower and longer power meter, and then Andy can jump out during tag breaks and do his useful little thing. Pull back damaged units as you draw close to tag breaking, free repairs > losing units.

Andy + Sami

Andy + Von Bolt

Hhhn....Von Bolt...hhn...doesn't like little boys.

Notes & Tactics

Andy

Some people like Andy, and some people hate him. But whether you love or detest the little mechanic, his use remains the same. Having no weakness, Andy should take advantage of the opposing CO's weakness and exploit it to the max. For example, if you are against long-range master Grit, try and kill him with tanks and force him to use direct units.

Andy's true role has changed now, with the invention of Dual Striking. With his short power meter and highly useful SCOP, Andy complements any other CO in a tag. This is backed up by his wide range of tag bonuses - he gets higher attack with many COs. With this in mind, during double CO matches Andy should stay back most of the time and you should focus on playing to the other CO's strengths, but don't forget to bring Andy in any time you're forced to deal with your partner's weaknesses.
