Candy/Kindle - City Queen
Candy (as the Europeans say) or Kindle (as the America-regioners say) is the conceited and complacent second-in-command of the new Black Hole army. Preferring to live in luxury, she fares better in the cities than anyone else.
Day To Day Abilities
- 140% power on any property
Note that the bonus on properties (city/base/airport/port/HQ/tower/silo) occur for both land and air units.
COP - Urban Blight ***
- 190% power on properties
- 110% power elsewhere
- 3hp damage to enemy units on a property
- 110% defence
Candy starts riots in every urban area, causing 3hp damage to any enemy units sitting on them, and pushing her own units' power on cities up to a crazy 190%.
SCOP - High Society ---***
- 230% power on properties
- 110% power elsewhere
- +3% power per property under her control
- 110% defence
Candy contacts her friends in high places to negotiate a 3% overall attack boost for every property under her control. Add to that the usual +10 attack and defence, and of course the overwhelming 230% power on urban tiles before the 3% bonuses are added, and your enemy had better lay low in the forests for a while.

Zak makes a good partner to a lot of COs, but here is another example of the move and attack pairing. Zak should start tag powers, zoom in units from afar and get busy with small-scale strikes, then switch to Candy for uber power attacks on everything. Day to day just go by where the battle is - near cities or near roads. If neither, then just pick whoever's bar you want to charge at the time.
A heavy attacking tag, use Candy/Kindle for hard hitting in urban areas and bring out Jugger to attack in the open. Generally open tag powers with Jugger to randomly blow holes in the opposition, then finish the job with the solid power of Candy/Kindle.
Notes & Tactics
Candy/Kindle is a strong CO that excels in nearly every map. Obviously when using her, you will try to stick to urban areas and attack from them at any given opportunity - 140% power is immense and the extra 30% terrain defence is always useful. With this power you can fight off infantry early on trying to push you off a capture, and often you can blow enemy infantry off capturing properties using adjacent ones. Urban tiles are relatively few on any given map, but generally they tend to be where the big fights happen, so don't worry too much about finding one to attack from. And even when you're not on a city, you have no weakness to worry about. Direct fighting is always good fun, but Candy can take advantage of her bonus slightly easier with indirects. Keeping a Rockets on a city under your control will cover a wide area around that city with huge power, while constantly resupplying as well. The sea doesn't hold much power for Candy, but the same principle works on a Battleship in port - also offering it pretty tight defence and usually covering a huge area inland. Aircraft also get the bonus, so always try and attack from a city/airport/whatever if possible, but it's no huge loss if you don't.
Urban Blight is a powerful COP with strong uses in the earlier stages of a game, or on small maps. It has multiple uses - doing over opposing forces locked in an urban fight (coupled with the supreme attack on cities you'll have, this can turn the tide of such fights), slowing down captures of properties to give time to move in and disrupt, breaking units that have retreated for repairs, or even just cracking a big hole in shiny new units to cost them a mint in repairs (and either slow them down another day or force them to leave at 9hp). Pretty good deal for 3 stars, so until you have a booming economy, this may well be your best bet.
Where Candy really starts to excel on large maps is with High Society. On a map where you can secure around 30 properties without much hassle, this SCOP puts Candy right up with the strongest of COs by boosting power to 190 for EVERY unit (not to mention a ridiculous boost on urban tiles). Some players prefer to spam Urban Blight the whole way through, but on a decent map High Society gives Candy a turn of unbridled destruction across the board, and gives her air and navy a chance to shine away from the city life.
