Eagle - Jumped-up Flyboy
Eagle is a proud but impatient CO of Green Earth that excels in aerial combat but is lacking somewhat on the seas.
Day To Day Abilities
- 120% attack power with aircraft
- -2 fuel consumption with aircraft
- 90% attack power with seacraft
COP - Lightning Drive ***
- Moved non-infantry units can move again
- 110% attack for infantry/mechs
- 110% defence
- 50% attack with aircraft
- 55% attack with naval units
- 60% attack with vehicles
Eagle doesn't want to wait another day, he wants to fly NOW! He commands any units inhis army (but not his infantry or mechs) that have taken their turns to move a second time in the same day, but due to the rushed effort, aircraft drop to 50% attack, seacraft drop to 55% attack and vehicles drop to 60% attack. All defence goes up to 110%, and infantry get 110% attack since they only get to move once anyway.
SCOP - Lightning Strike ---******
- Moved non-infantry units can move again
- 90% attack with directs
- 110% attack with all else
- 110% defence
In perhaps the most feared CO Power of them all, Eagle instantly readies his troops for a second bout of action in the same day. All non-infantry units that have taken their turn are lit up again and ready to attack. Everybody gets 110% defence and 110% firepower to take with them as they prepare for the second strike of lightning.

So you'll get to use your Tag Power once a year. You'll have the frightening prospect of marathon T copters dropping off infantry to vital properties or HQs, just in time for Sami to walk all over them. A powerful tag (not to mention the +15% luck that 3 stars gets you).
Arrr, good pals be these. Both powers are nice and would string together pretty well, but you're still faced with the strength/weakness thing - half your army will be rubbish at any one time. Nice.
Notes & Tactics
Needless to say, you should rely mainly on your air force when using Eagle, meaning he is at a loss on maps with no aircraft. Boats are a complete waste of time (other than landers and Black Boats) but ground units are on par with Andy's (and APCs are vital to keeping your sky fleet moving). Lightning Strike makes people cry real tears, it means you can deploy units and send them off, move indirect units and then fire with them, drop off units past enemy lines and then melt your opposition, or simply send in waves of units to blow things up twice, all in one day. Having said that, don't be afraid to use Lightning Drive for tactical purposes either - it ruins attack power, but for tricks like rushing in, attacking, then using the COP and gliding back into retreat, or finishing off powerful units, it comes in very useful. Day to day, try sending battle copters out to disrupt infantry early on, and don't be afraid to bomb those anti-air units. Tally ho!
