Javier - Mustachioed Knight

Javier Normal

Gentlemanly and verbose knight of Green Earth, Javier uses Communications Towers as medieval castles, gaining defence as well as attack for every one captured. He also doesn't like getting hit from afar, so he has extra indirect defence.

A nice offencive/defencive pairing, Jess wheels out the hard attacks and then Javier puts on the indirect shielding.

Very defencive pairing, makes Grit cry. Buy buy buy with Javier, break break break with Kanbei, and never have less than 120% defence against indirects. End tag powers with Kanbei for the best defence, unless you have two or more towers.

Notes & Tactics

Javier

In a map without towers (i.e. 90% of maps), Javier's strength lies in his defence against indirect attacks. Use this to march forward with less worry about artillery or rockets, and press onward with directs. During powers, this is hugely amplified, so feel free to push in your indirects into enemy indirect range and unleash some Green Earth sausage all over them. If you do happen to get even one tower though, you can more or less claim victory, as the extra defence will give you a good boost of resiliance to attacks. Two towers? Just tell your enemy to resign. Then slap yourself for being cheap.
